Dispute matter

Kia Ora Rosina,
Welcome to the Community😊
Sorry to read of that experience you've had,
No one but the Member themselves will be able to answer why they may have Blacklisted you. - TradeMe don't ask for or require this information & some of the reasons can be quite absurd at times - it pays not to dwell on that & just move on.
Have a look at your payment instructions from your Seller & in their Profile for a phone number incase it is given so you can give them a call.
Have you placed Feedback yet? - This can let them know you've emailed regarding the 2 faulty items sent & can they please make contact with you. - Be careful just to state the facts & No defamatory information.
Is your Seller 'In Trade'? - Is it possible this is a registered business company? If you think they may be you can look them up online on the NZ Companies Register to possibly obtain contact telephone number(s) and physical address, giving you another way of contact. It's good you have filed your Dispute Resolution for TradeMe's assistance & Hopefully you'll receive your refund asap enabling you to repurchase a document scanner. All the Best! - Cheers.0 -

Sounds like you've acted very reasonably - unfortunately some traders can be fickle with others for their random reasons.
Good luck with getting your refund
