Contact a closed listing member

No way Dan unless they have other listings or you have traded with them before. You can also add the seller to your favourites so you are emailed new listings they create, or if you find the item in your lost folder if you added it to your watchlist or find it using the expired listings search, there may be a request relist or request fpo link in the auction.

Is the Listing in your Lost items? It is possible there maybe a link to request a Relist or FPO.

If you happen to have the Listing number you can run a search through the system using that to pull the expired Listing up. 

With no Listing number & if the item isn't in your Lost items, if you know the Member's username you can enter it in the Link below to see if they have any other Listings running which you could put a message through the Q&A on, perhaps requesting a relist of the item. - If there are no further items running you can save the Member to your Favorites so you are emailed with their new daily Listings. - Trade Me Member Profiles | Trade Me

Or you can run a search for the generic item > enter the blue Refine Tab > scroll to the bottom & select 'Expired listings' to bring the item up through a refined search of the product name to obtain details & Member username - Relist or FPO Links perhaps. - Cheers.
