Move a listing from motorhomes to caravans

Gary-NZStocked Community SuperuserIf you go in to the auction and edit it, you may see a change category button like below. Not all auctions have that ability, and I don't think you can do it in the motors section as it's too easy to bypass the auction as you have fields for contact details there. In the past, people would sell something outside of Trademe, then change the listing to something else entirely, thereby avoiding listing fees.
If you don't see the option to change category, it means you can't do it, so would have to wait till the current listing closes then change the category as you relist before the auction is live again.

If you don't want to leave it as is and hope for the best, or wait until it closes, all you can do is withdraw it and relist in the correct category. Ask Trade Me first and they should be able to return your fees.

Due to the setup within the Motors Category No Vehicles/Motors can change Category on a Relist - you withdraw & create a New Listing. - Cheers.

To contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance, If you select the Contact us Link at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen. - Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once opened in a New conversation - Talk to person - and you are taken to entering a few details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff. - Enter Talk to person twice if you aren't transferred the first time. - Enter your Listing number in the Chat window here enabling staff to pull it up readily.The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 5:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm- Cheers.0
