Items Automatically Relisted
AnsweredI added My Products to my TradeMe account this week. This afternoon I noticed I have had all of my sold items relisted as well as some other unsold items that had closed previously.
This has caused double-ups of current items, and I've had to withdraw a heap of auctions that were previously sold via TradeMe.
Does My Products automatically relist sold items??

Ross, My products won't create a new listing unless you activate each product. If you have imported items to MP to create items (products) and the item is currently listed manually, then you need to wait till the manual listing finishes before activating the product. Once a product is activated, it will relist until the qty you have set sells. If you only have 1 of an item, it will list, fpo (if chosen to), relist, only one at a time ie it will not create duiplicates.
MP listings are independent of manual listings. MP can keep track of what it does and the stock you have set within MP, but it has no link to what you have manually listed.
Perhaps you imported your sold items by mistake and activated them without having stock available. When you import, you can choose to import Current, sold, and or unsold listings.

This is the trap I fell into when I first used my products. I relisted them via the unsold tab and of course myproducts did too. Once you use myproducts, there is no need to use the unsold tab at all

Thanks pedulla,
No deactivating doesn't withdraw the listing so it will still run it's full current set timeframe for you. - All the Best.😊
