Answering questions and editing as alternative
AnsweredI have questions re the size of object I am trying to sell. Replies in either numerals or written as word are blocked by TME obviously as a counter to bypassing rules re email addresses and passwords. As alternative tried to add this info. into body of auction but I seem also unable to edit my auction?

Kia Ora Brendan,
Log out of TradeMe then back in - If this doesn't work try clearing your Browser/Device cookies & cache. - You should be able to Edit & Reply to questions in those written words again, it's likely you're just cached there atmo' - Cheers.

If the item has bids / reserve met, you won't be able to edit the auction. This is so you can't change a Rolex to a Casio after it has bids. If it has no bids you should be able to edit it.
Not sure what the item was but it's always good to have dimensions stated when you first list it. If you start looking around at some categories like furniture or whiteware on here you will see dozens of them with the same inevitable question; "Dimensions please?"

If you ever need to Edit to add info' to a Listing which has bids on it with the Reserve met you can add the information through a Sellers Comment. - If a mistake has been made in the Listing you can also remove bids to under the Reserve price enabling you to Edit the Listing though this can upset previous bidders, a footnote in a Sellers Comment of the incorrection to previous bidders could see these bidders re-bid. - If the mistake is a big correction it is advised to withdraw the Listing, make your corrections then Relist the item. - Cheers.

You can't Brett. Only the question asker can start the Q & A, but you can always add a seller comment in the Q & A area inviting the previous bidder to offer again.
