How Trademe deal with a user whose email is not real

Michael, you should edit your post and remove the members email address from your post as it's not allowed to breach other peoples' privacy like that on here. Click the cog icon beside your post to edit.

Presumably you have placed feedback asking the buyer to contact you as emails you have sent them have been returned undeliverable. The other thing to do is to apply for your success fee back by clicking the link in the sold auction, this then lets Trademe know the trade has not been completed and they will attempt to contact the other member to complete the trade and make contact.

It looks like your Buyer's inbox is full - How long has it been since the item was won/purchased? - TradeMe allow Members 2 days to make contact & 7 days to complete payment, completing the Trade. On day 3 if you have not heard from your Buyer or received payment for the goods you can apply for your Success Fee Refund, TradeMe will attempt to contact your Buyer, if they are unable & don't hear back from your Buyer within 3 days your Success Fee will be refunded so you can relist the item(s) - Remember to leave Feedback though keep to the facts - nothing defamatory.

It is prohibited to place contact information of any Members on this Public Forum therefore you will want to Edit your Post to remove the Members Email Address - you have left them vulnerable to Scammers who scan for this info' - Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. It's free selling last week ending on 15 sunday, and it's only $1 not a big deal. Just wondering how Trademe deal with users with no valid contact method.

TradeMe have contact numbers for Members which you supply when you register your Membership account therefore they have the means to exercise contact - if these are invalid restrictions can also be put on Members accounts to prevent like situations you're in. - Cheers.
