Negative feedback percentage
AnsweredAt what point do Trademe consider removing a member, or deleting their account?
I've sold a product to a member with 70 positive feedbacks and 30 negative ones. As soon as I sold the item a week ago, I suspected the sale would fall through. So its no surprise that multiple emails later, and two missed promises of payment, I am still chasing payment.
Surely it would warrant Trademe having a policy to remove these types of accounts when the trading history is clear?

Hi Greg. Trade Me say they take note at 95% or less.
But as you know the percentage is not that reliable. A member who has an unjustified negative but only a few trades can have a percentage of 75% or even 50%
Best thing to do is contact Trade Me directly and let them know.

Kia Ora Greg,
As Callum says, generally TradeMe expect all Members to retain a 95% Feedback status - below that restrictions may be applied to the account, which we as Members, may not see in place.Rather than removing a Member or deleting an account TradeMe tend to guide Members to uplift their feedback status preventing attempts of opening new &/Or multi accounts - Best to keep these known ones in sight and potentially already on blacklists.Members can report dubious accounts highlighting an issue to the company allowing them to monitor activity and take necessary actions as required. - Cheers.0
