Search for a seller

There is a search box on the profiles page if you know their membername Trade Me Member Profiles | Trade Me and there is also an option on the desktop site at the bottom of the browse dropdown list to search members. The search only works on 100% correct names that you input, so not really a search, but a go to.

Those are the ways if the seller neglects to put their membername in all or some of their auctions so people can find them easier.

To get to the Member Profiles page manually, On the Desktop site you currently select the word Link 'Community' at the bottom of most TradeMe pages > Select the Members Profile Link from there.

I am Locked in to the New Look site for most Desktop pages However from my Won items I can select the 'Desktop site' in fine print at the very bottom of most TradeMe pages - this takes me to the New Look 'My Account' page However if I select Won from the Left hand side banner menu I am taken to my Won items in the Classic (Old) TradeMe site where I can use the Drop down menu in Gary-NZStocked's second pic above.

The above is all through the Desktop site & provided I have the Member's name - Cheers.

Why is TradeMe making it so difficult to deal with?

Used to be able to advise someone just to search my user name and they would find what I have for sale. Now the above appears to work in the old system but the New all bells and whistles layout just makes it too difficult to navigate to this because the plain old search is useless.

On top of this how is one ever to contact trademe? all roads lead to robots or the boy down the road who struggles to tie his laces without help. TradeMe is happy to take a commission but not to offer a useful help system.

Is TradeMe looking to fail so the shareholders sell out again?

Kia ora Malcolm, Members can still search for your listings by username using the link above in the comment from Gary-NZStocked, Trade Me Member Profiles | Trade Me. From there they can click on the 'Listings' tab to be taken to your listings. If you need help the 'Contact us' link is at the bottom of every page, if you need help from the team you can type "talk to a person" and the bot will send you through to someone.

Got your reply but are you aware that the pages being shown are not the current active updates pages that I am seeing on desktop

With this search it doesn't seem to allow the same drop down in search with an option to look for member anymore. This is what comes as a default home page for me (https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/) . Check and reply , thanks

If you add your User name to the title of a few of your Listings Members will find you through a search in the screenshot you have provided above.

There is another Search for Members through the Members Profile page, as below...

To get to this Members search you select the word Community from the Bottom of any TradeMe page > Select the Members Profile on your Landing page, as below...

And you land in my first screenshot above for you - Cheers.
