Transparency of Professional Sellers
I would like TradeMe to ensure that all professional sellers to make it very clear that items listed for sale are either in the country or coming from overseas. For example it is very frustrating when at item listed in Auckland is actually coming from overseas and on purchase is says 15 days delivery.

They are being clear by saying "Shipping is 15 Days". That is your clue.

Callum Community SuperuserHello Maureen. Sellers who are approved dropshippers already have clear rules that they must follow. They must state in the listing description that the item is coming from overseas, and an indication of delivery times. If this is not stated please report the seller to Trade Me.
I have been asking for many years for Trade Me to implement some kind of logo or way to determine if a seller has been approved as a drop-shipper. Even better would be to make a filter so that we could exclude items being shipped from overseas if we didn't want to see those in search results.

Teresa, it's no good saying "Shipping is 15 Days" after you buy something. It needs to be stated before purchase. In this case it sounds like it wasn't?

thepiercedkiwiEditedIt should say in the auction how long shipping is. I have learnt to read auctions and ask questions. IF it does not state how long Shipping is or is Free Shipping. I do not buy.
