Seller not responding - report shows "auto-solved" - can't contact trade me
I've purchased an item and the seller is not responding. I logged a report to have this removed as I don't trust the seller, but straight after this it shows "solved". I thought this was an error so logged another report and it shows "solved" as well. There is no way to contact Trade Me directly - I keep on getting directed to log a report.
Disappointing as I would like to use another seller but not sure if I can?!

Hi Magda, that all sounds a bit confusing. Often the "Solved" status doesn't actually mean that but it's just that the TM staff think it's solved. I have several requests on My Requests page showing and the status alongside each doesn't always reflect the status as far as I'm concerned, but it's only Trademe that change the status. I have statuses as New, Open, Closed, Solved but never really pay attention to them.
I would suggest you try to contact Trademe using the Live chat option to chat to a real person. The Help pages show you how to do this.

I have one come up solved and has not yet been solved yet?,
I will be contacting Trade Me about it too, it is not right, and find out what is going on?

It's really hard to contact them and get to a person. I've tried the chat function (thanks for this @Gary-NZStocked), however, the chat keeps taking you to the page where you log a report. So I'm not sure what to do and how to contact or speak to an actual person :(

Next time you try the chat, type in talk to a real person. The ai bot will then let you out of the loop so you can chat to a real person at Trademe.
