It's a yeah nah for me - would love to know how to get rid of it appearing everywhere I click. I've asked TM, they've no idea - yeah right, they are just pushing this too far now ... rrrrr rant over :)

Agreed. There is no difference really between Sponsored Listings and Gallery Listings.

Yes, I did try it. Can't remember if I saw that ad earlier, but maybe. Just checked my adblocker and I had blocked it anyway.
If I disable adblocker I get a reminder though.

If you use adblock Plus, Go to Block Element, then click on add and follow prompts, It will then disappear,

Am seeing an increasing number of listings with field showing SponsoredVendorId: It makes it difficult to read the seller information box as the id is visible behind the seller info box, as below. Don't know if it's related to sponsored listings or a sponsored seller, but it's a dog's breakfast and should be a hidden field as it has no info relevance to buyer or seller but merely clutters the screen and makes it impossible to read legitimate useful information.
