Not getting notifications for messages from buyers.

Kia ora Nigel, check that the notifications are turned on for messaging, if the are on and you're still not receiving them, hop onto live chat and someone can take a look for you.

Hi Michelle, thanks, I checked the link you gave above, and followed through the options, but there is no 'Turn on Trade Me notifications'. All available options are turned on already, and when I go back a step it says 'Enabled (Receiving 20 types)'.

Im in the same boat, when people message me I dont see it for weeks sometimes due to lack of push notification or email. I also have all options turned on for notifications.

Live chat bot didnt help at all.

S Community SuperuserKia Ora All,To contact a TradeMe staff member for 1 on 1 Chat through the "Live Chat" facility you enter in the Chat bot which comes up - person - and you are taken to entering your details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff. - These Chats are picked up pretty quickly and once the Chat is ended you are emailed a transcript of the conversation with the staff member which you can reply email for further assistance or add any further info'.The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 5:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmAll the Best! - Cheers.0

We found if people were using the app rather than web for contacting we didn't receive notifications or messages. Might pay to check the app and see if anything is showing there. Very annoying - they should sinc with each other

To the members that are having this issue, I got in touch with the TM team, and it appears to be a bug that they are aware of and are trying to sort. Please let them know if you are having this issue as the info you provide may help in fixing the problem.
