Anyone having problems being able to bid this afternoon, and different end times on listings?
I don't know why but I wasn't able to place bids on an auction this afternoon? The auction was also showing two different end times, one an hour earlier/later than the other. Was this daylight savings related? I personally would be really annoyed if my auction ended an hour early and the platform wasn't accepting bids.

I just lost a second auction I was leading in the past month. So angry at this occurring again.
It's commercial discrimination, as the auction process is somehow corrupted at the trademe end.
I'm entering the auction in good faith believing my legal right to a fair auction is going to be upheld, however,
I'm then disappointed when discovering I'm unable to fairly engage in reasonable and fair bidding, and the result is losing auctions.
I was watching the bidding, it said, leading the bidding. It had the auction end time as 7.40, I noticed it was 7.41, so left the page, later checked back in. I lost the auction to a higher bidder. How Trademe?

Gary-NZStocked Community SuperuserEdited2ndlookbooks, ALL Trademe auctions use Auto-extend. When a bid is placed inside the last 2 mins before scheduled end time, another 2 mins is added, to give people extra time to place a higher bid, which of course means more money for Trademe and more money for the seller. This used to be an optional feature, but many years ago it was applied to all auctions. Until the listing actually says Closing.... then the auction is still live and available for bids. It's quite common for auctions to run for over 1/2 an hour past their scheduled end time as another 2 mins get's added each time a bid is placed inside that last 2 mins, so it's good practice to keep refreshing the page you are on so latest bidding info shows.
