disappearing items
Confirmed buganyone else getting real tired of trademe's garbage new system, where half the items you were watching but missed/didnt bid...just vanish, not turning up on your lost items list
and a bunch of stuff not allowing requests for sellers to relist/offer price

Sort your s@#% out trademe, why don't you use some of the money from your way overpriced fees and hire some people who know what they doing. I would be embarrassed to say I worked for trademe at the moment. Plenty of room in the market place for a new competent auction site!

Have been noticing the increasing number of disappearing listings from lost folder - cant see whether it was won by someone else or unsold to request for a relist/offer. So this is frustrating for both seller and buyer as I read the seller also unable to make fixed price offer if the listing was unsold because all the watchers disappeared too.
The upgrades unfortunately was a downgrade
-Each tab in the browser no longer shows the title of the item
-The photos shows 'cut out' of both top and bottom in landscape form not portrait and it's inconvenient having to click each photo to see the details.
-I came across 4 of these 'upgraded' listings today and the bidding was not a good experience. The remaining minutes and bidding price did not automatically update like before , had to manually refresh to check if I was outbidded.
Trademe, please could you fix these bugs.

Also to add on my above comments, winning these auctions with KP reference, Trademe's payment instructions is now in the purchase/winning email instead of having a separate email and the worst thing is they are all jumbled up together in a single paragraph. And replying the purchase/winning email usually goes to the seller/buyer but the reply goes to Trademe and that's absurdly gone backwards, wasting extra time to do things once working smoothly.
I dont think the upgrades are successful with these many bugs and I'm probably wasting time listing out the problems encounter in my recent experience.

I just found out an auction I was interested in but ends at odd hours so forgot to check back in and couldnt locate anymore as it has disappeared from lost folder. After much digging in the last week save search emails I found the listing.
Funny thing is I did ask a question and found out it was answered, normally I will receive email on answered question but this never appeared in my email at all, otherwise I'd have bidded!!

Is this My Products you're purchased Listings are through & which Device / Browser are you using? - Have you tried through both the Desktop site Classic (Old) or New Look site & one of the Apps? - Cheers.

It's not related to my products, I am the bidder / buyer, experiencing problems listed above with the new upgraded listings.

Yes! I'm on the Desktop site, Edge Browser & can confirm my emails from TM after successfully winning a Listing are set with the Default to Reply to TM instead of the Seller on a non-cart purchase - this is a recent change within the last couple of days for me. - Cheers.
EDIT: - I've just had another purchase & the TM email received did have the correct Default email reply address which is the Seller.
The difference between them both:
- The email Defaulting to the TradeMe email address I received a Payment instructions email.
- I had to email the Seller for combined shipping cost.
- The Listings had N/A in the shipping field.
- The Payment instructions email from TradeMe uses the New Look site format.
- The email Defaulting to the Seller's email address received a Your bid was successful email.
- I paid by Ping.
- The Listing had the shipping cost in the shipping field.
- The Your bid was successful email uses the Classic Desktop site format.
The New Look site needs the Default program changed to Reply to the Seller's email. - HTH. - Cheers.

Kia ora S and SJ, the issue you've mentioned where the sold and won emails for some listings default to a Trade Me email address, is a bug and is due to the changes we are making in the background.

Trademe couldn't fux their site up anymore if they tried.
Are they due to flog it off and wrecking it like they do in situations of Disaster Capitalism. Or it just a social experiment to see how frustrated ppl get before they look for an alternative. It's working!
