Editing a classified listing
SUDDENLY, I'M UNABLE TO EDIT MY CLASSIFIED LISTING.
IT APPEARS TO BE HAPPENING, BUT ON CHECKING BACK TO THE LISTING
IT HASENT CHANGED AT ALL. ????????????

Hello Gaye. You didn't mention which type of classified you are attempting to edit, but if you read through the help file you may get assistance. Importantly some things on classifieds can't be edited. There is also a time limit on when you are able to do so.

MY APOLOGIES. IT IS "STUNNING BUDGIES" I HAVE NOT HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH EDITING BEFORE,
AND ALL I WANT TO DO IS TO PUT BUDGIES ON HOLD FOR A BUYER, AND DELETE BUDGIES THAT ARE SOLD. WHEN I ATTEMPT TO DO THIS , IT APPEARS TO BE WORKING BUT ON CHECKING MY ADVERTISMENT IT HAS NOT HAPPENED. ?????
I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP.

Hi there. If it is allowing you to make the change, but that change is not showing on the listing you may need to contact Trade Me directly for assistance.There is a possibility it has actually changed, but you are seeing it not changed because it's your listing. You might like to share the listing number on here, so we can take a look. Or view your listing when logged out to double check.

WHY HAS THIS JUST SUDDENLY CHANGED???
IT IS A BUDGIES LISTING AND DETAILS CAN CHANGE DAILY, SO I NEED TO EDIT IT ON A REGULAR BASIS.
THIS HAS NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM IN THE PAST SO I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND .
I RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM TRADE ME TO EXTEND MY LISTING JUST THIS MORNING WHICH I HAVE DONE.
SO WHY CANT I EDIT THE LISTING ???
IT IS EMBARRASING TO HAVE TO LET BUYERS KNOW THAT I AM HOLDING BUDGIES FOR THEM, BUT TRADE ME
WONT ALLOW ME TO EDIT, AND CHANGE THE DETAILS.
THE 7 DAY EDIT HAS ONLY EVER APPLIED TO REALESTATE AND OTHER LARGE ITEMS EG CARS BOATS ETC.

Hi Gaye if this is a new issue you have encountered which going by what you say you have been able to do in the past it is it maybe something to do with the updates Trade Me are currently making to the site there have been a number of functionality issues as a result of the ongoing updates try using the live chat option to chat live with someone from the Trade Me Customer Experience Team and let them know about the issue just go to the Contact Us section at the bottom of any page and click on the blue speech icon on the bottom right side of that page then type in talk to a person and you will be connected to someone that you can then chat with live.
The live chat is only available during business hours which are Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm Sat-Sun 9:30am to 4pm.
