Buyer pulled out of the trade
What to do if the buyer pulls out of a trade.
Follow these steps if you can't complete the trade because of the buyer.
1. Apply for a success fee refund
Most issues are resolved this way. We'll try to get the trade back on track by reminding the buyer of their obligations.
2. Refund the buyer
If the buyer paid but hasn't received the goods, they need to be refunded. Even if they've pulled out of the trade.
3. Relist the item or send a Fixed Price Offer
We'll notify watchers from the original listing when you relist or send an offer.
4. Place feedback
Make sure to share your true experience in your feedback. If the buyer's refusing to go through with the trade, and you feel strongly that they should, your local Citizens Advice Bureau can offer advice.
