Buyer has pulled out of the sale

What to do if the buyer pulls out of a trade.

Buyers and sellers are obliged to complete any trades they enter into – unless they've both agreed to cancel.

If the buyer has pulled out of the sale

  1. Apply for a success fee refund.
Most issues are resolved this way. We'll try to get the trade back on track by reminding the buyer of their obligations.

  2. Refund – if they've already paid.
If the buyer won't receive the goods, they need to be refunded. Even if they've pulled out of the trade.

  3. Relist, or send a Fixed Price Offer.
We'll notify watchers from the original listing when you relist or send an offer.
