Thank you both. Yes definitely keeping away from those wording ones. Their wording stated in the ad:"Unit sold as is with items as seen. Assets are assumed to be used; all descriptions & photos should be used as a guide only and we accept no liability for the condition of the items within the unit. All sales are final."The images Dad had taken, some items are missing and moved. What got Dads attention was the guy said there were no hand power tools. I'm more than happy to take it further, it's unfair. Not only our hard earned dollars, but to knowingly make false claims and try to justify it...
Hey Community, just had another experience where the companies sell their abandoned storage unit contents. They take their photos, list the ad and then promote, as is where is, they are not responsible for anything in there, This unit was abandoned by the owner etc etc.... However, if I'm bidding on a listing, I'd expect it to look just like the images when I arrive and the door opens up.(like bidding on a lemon and they send you a tomato) Click click, immediate photos Dad take and guess what?
