I have a PO Box that I use wherever possible for both privacy and security. I get the fact that courier companies other than CourierPost can't deliver to PO Boxes, but with the latest changes to the TM system it seems that I can't enter a PO Box as my delivery address at all. So for anyone wanting to deliver by snail mail or CourierPost I have to send a separate message asking them to use the Box rather than the default street address in my account. I'd rather not have my street address disclosed to anyone except when I choose to do so - is there no way around this?
Curious to know if this has happened to others. When uploading a .csv file containing a batch of products, I sometimes find that progress is glacially slow and the upload seems to stop about 1/20th of the way through. The .csv file is small (just eight lines) and is 11 kb in size, so it's hardly jamming anyone's transmission lines. I've logged out and logged in again, rebooted the PC, still the same problem, and no way to cancel the "upload" once it's started. The green upload bar goes no further than the point shown in the image.
I don't often use the CSV file option for uploading new listings, but when I do, I get problems with TM not finding my photos. Here's the sequence I followed.First I created a listing manually, then exported it as a CSV file to give me a template. I have the "auto-send payment instructions" option ticked on all my listings. A couple of times recently, buyers have contacted me to say they hadn't arrived, and that they weren't in their spam box. Just happened to me as a buyer for the first time - seller insists the box was ticked but nothing received here (and nothing in spam). The check-list on my "items won" doesn't show payment instructions sent for my latest purchase, but based on my own recent experiences I believe the seller.
