You may want to try Pass the Parcel Lachelle as that address is not rural for them. $5.60 to that address from Auckland for up to an A4 size bag if you use your own packaging.
I'm also difficult like Callum ;) in that there are too many variables to consider to specify in advance what courier I am sending with. Time of day, combined items, how many parcels for a specific courier, buyers address, size of parcel, has courier been today already, is it one of the couriers that comes back later on for a 2nd pickup, can I pack before courier normally arrives etc etc. If I was to specify which courier I used it would delay sending of item, delay buyer receiving item, cost buyer more for delivery etc. I had a buyer ask a Q the other day if I would send a large carton wit...
Barry, you can still use the full website on your phone just like you are posting here, just go to www.trademe.co.nz If it redirects you to the app automatically, you need to overwrite it and tell it to stay on the browser version. They made the app only have limited functionality so it was quicker and easier to use for basic tasks.
Yes, you can do all of that using My Products. Schedule end times (at no extra cost), activate to list lots at the same time with a couple of clicks, store several draft listings and only activate when you are ready to list. You can also write up one listing then if you have something similar you can duplicate the listing and edit the new copy before listing. Heaps more benefits too. Once you use it you won't look back.
Printing your email copy of the Ping payment you made, if you used Ping or Afterpay, will be fine. If internet banking, just use the email plus a copy of your bank transfer.
It's not a glitch, it's a Trademe design. The payment instructions are only ever sent in a small number of cases, and sometimes they are included in the purchase email, other times there is a link in the won email to say additional information, click here. It depends on how you win/buy and what payment options the seller offers as to if they are sent as to how/if they are sent to the buyer. Have been on at TM for years to change this back to how it used to be, ie they used to always be sent as a separate email, but alas, no joy.
Basically you can't view a normal item before purchasing. You need to look carefully at photos, read the full description and ask questions if there is something you need more info on. Some sellers might let you win the bidding then allow you to inspect on collection and if not as described etc will refund you and cancel the trade, but you need to ask and arrange this before bidding/buying.
Offers are designed to be used when there is a "hidden" reserve price that is higher than the start price, either with or without a Buy Now option. Then bidding can go along merrily, but until the reserve price is met the item is not "sold" and offers are valid to be either accepted, or traditionally via Q & A used to change the Buy Now price.
It takes but a couple of clicks for a seller to refund you any shipping overcharge via Ping. If the seller is In Trade, Trademe charges the suceess fee including the shipping price, but when issuing a refund via Ping, the success fee part is also automatically refunded to them so they are in no way out of pocket. This last part changed recently, so maybe that seller is not aware.
What does it show when you track it online yourself? If you booked it via book a courier, there is a link to the tracking in your items I sold page, plus it's in the email copy Trademe emailed you when you made the booking.
