I have rellies in Aus and have tried to buy on here and have sent to them directly, but as there is no filter for Australia it makes it hard. There are country filters for even Poland and Israel for example, but not Australia so they are simply lumped in with NZ. Back in 2024 Australian listings made up 3.8% of listings. A simple way for Trademe to minimise the bank transfer bypass listing cash as an option loophole, where it seems every man and his dog (sorry, no disrespect intended to the dog), is saying in their listings, that if you want to pay by bank deposit, choose the cash option, would be.. IF the seller allows pickup THEN cash is a selectable payment option ELSE do not allow cash as an option. Maybe that's too simple.

I can't quite follow your logic there, but you contact Trademe via the bot and send them a message if/when the bot is no help. Choose start a new conversation, then Leave a message for the team, as below screenshot I just grabbed.
When you issue a refund via Ping to a buyer, the Ping fee AND the success fee are automatically refunded at the same time. If you check through your Ping transactions and your main Account transactions and you are sure this has not happened, then you'll need to contact Trademe. If you have auto transfer out on your Ping account to payment is made to your bank acc every day, then your balance can be zero, then the refund you gave the buyer puts your Ping acc negative. Next time you receive a Ping payment in your Ping acc it adds to the balance and obviously if it's negative to start with the...
Could be any number of methods. Do you have it in your payment instructions that get sent to your buyers or even your full name. Have you listed a classified at all with your phone number in it, has the buyer bought from you before or have you bought from them so knows your details from previous to look up on social media etc. Lots of ways to find details unless you are secretive. You could ask the buyer too if you are concerned.
Thanks for the heads up bud. Checked and yes, mine was incorrect too and showed Dec value even though it was dated for Jan statement. Have reprinted and saved new pdf and made adjustment in my accounting software. Cheers
You'd need to check in the product of one that hasn't relisted yet to check your bulk product edit worked or not. Presumably you ticked the box to tell MP to "Update current listings where possible". If you did, then you may need to force update, as mentioned in my original post at the top, ie Often just an extra . or .. in the footer will force the update. If you don't currently use a common footer, start now with this.
You would need to ask trademe as they may have a new legal requirement to notify sellers, they have to adhere to. Is there a tick box in the product that needs to be ticked to confirm you comply? Could be the tick box is either new or has become unlocked in error.
