I dont want this post to be a debate about why people take or not take certain payment types, everyone has their preferences. For me, its not about being cashless. The money sits in my wallet for ages as Im not close to a bank and Id rather have it being useful to me and earning interest rather than just collecting dust. I also understand why people prefer cash for a range of reasons. Funny enough I have a different experience with not accepting cash. Yes I may lose out on people buying, but I have a higher % of sales completed. Once a sale is made, I find more are completed. The reason for...
You can do a community watch on one of their auctions to report it to trademe. They can then look into it
I dont use ping for the exact same reason and I will opt out too. Maybe the ping fee will be less than the listing fee so might be better, but the ping payment option will stay until manually removed and I dont want to have to to this to all my listings. Maybe it can be done as a bulk action in myproducts, but i have no interest
Thanks Paris for the post - yes I agree great to highlight this for others
Ok, well I won't be getting it free then LOL. Saw the email but havent read it yet. I also see it states new listings will have ping added, so will relists NOT have ping added?
I dont use ping so totally free for me
Generally this is not a trademe issue, its Aramex and NZ post stopping more bookings as they have reached their own capacity. Normally if you try the next day, they (aramex and nz post) have allowed bookings again
It works for me. I dont get too antsy about it. TradeMe allows buyers to pay in a week so thats why I dont follow up until.then
Thanks Callum. I'll look at incorporating that step. I dont think I'll need the calendar reminder re changing the feedback as I normally place feedback after the fees have been refunded, so I'll just change it when that comes through.
Out of interest Callum, how often does the step of adding the feedback yeild a payment? Ive always been of the opinion that the negative feedback at the end has more impact as its negative. So curious to know if the step helps
