Sally, I've had people do the same thing - some use their business courier as its their preferred courier and may either be at a discounted rate or free to them. Its not too common but it does happen. The other thing to watch out for is if they send something to you with a link to click on - DONT.
Thanks for the info S. I did suggest that and that is what they have done. I dont think they are trying to avoid the fees, I think they just wanted the cash. But yes they should have asked first

Hi Callum. I dont have buy nows on most of my auctions which is maybe why my %s are higher. The FPO is the same as my starting reserve
If I look at my last 6 weeks sale, approximately 20% are from FPO. Some weeks are lower and 1 week they all were from FPO so worth it for me
Good on you Sammi for giving MyProducts a go - you are right in that it does help remove all the issues with the new look site. As Gary says you manage everything from within myproducts. Dont relist via the unsold area. You can set auction in myproducts to automatically offer a fixed price offer or not (and you can select the amount you want) and to relist automatically. If it does a fixed price offer and all watchers decline then it will relist automatically. It really is "set and forget" and myproducts will do it all for you
Bonnie - I totally agree that trademe should be fixing the bugs/issues and it is poor form what has happened. However, it is what it is and everyone has a choice to either 1) try persevere with it, wait for it to be fixed (i would be holding my breath) , waste lots of time with extra work or work arounds, get frustrated, and then continuously moan/complain about it OR 2) try an alternative that takes some initial time to work out how to use, then significantly save time (even compared to when trademe was working properly) and enjoy all that free time. I am hooked onto the new look trademe b...
I have the same issue Alan. I have to use chrome every time I need to post on the community forum. I have the current version of ff and refresh every morning
