Donal. As I said above "I should have given an RD shipping option". Seller was happy with the solution I offered and we have both removed feedbacks and I have refunded the Ping payment.
I just tried to ask a question on a listing but got the error message "You are unable to use this feature." The seller has been a member since 2010 and has 99.8% positive feedback so nothing to be wary of that I can see. How do I contact Trade Me to ask why I can't ask a question? When I tried using the form, I get a link to their help information pages. A link on the help page "contact us" goes back to the form so it goes around in circles! I will ask about this on the relevant topic.
The app is up to date. I have an android phone, also up to date, but I don't see how the problem could be with android or the app since I have been able to add listings from other sellers to my wants list, just not the one selling weetbix cards.

S - The buyer paid $5.80 tracking by ping but asked for a refund when I told them it would cost an extra $5.70 for RD delivery. They have obviously done many trades and would know that it costs more to send to an RD address. I sent a reminder email to the original buyer after 5 days. After another 4 days, I still hadn't heard from the buyer so requested a success fee refund and sent out the offer. It appears that the buyer paid as soon as they received the email from Trade Me. I didn't expect them to pay since they didn't reply to my email or the Trade Me payment instructions but I guess I should have waited before sending out the offer. @ L The original listings was for less than 7 days and my attempt to add a combined postage option was the first edit attempted. Every item listed for less than 7 days results in the same problem when the seller edits the listing. Trade Me extends the length to 7 days by default and the seller has to change the duration. What gives Trade Me the right to change the duration of a sellers listing and the seller not being able to correct it? Whether or not bids have been placed has no relevance in this case. You're right that it has been going on for a long time. Time it got fixed!
I have not given my contact details or asked a seller for theirs by Q & A previously. If I am wrong, please give details of this. I believe a mistake has been made by Trade Me in this case. (I hope my account wasn't hacked to do this). Would you please review the restriction on my account?
