Gary-NZStocked same for me my date of birth is not shown on my profile account page using the old desktop site the new look Trade Me site or the IOS app I believe it is only required when you set up your account for the first time as it is part the personal information required when setting up your account. I guess your date of birth is one thing that will never change so why would you need to change it unless it has been entered incorrectly when you setup your account.
Hi peter if you are wanting to correct the date of birth Trade Me has for your account membership I believe you need to contact Trade Me directly and they will change it for you it can't be changed by yourself you can change information such as your email address, password and phone numbers but not your date of birth I guess because your date of birth never changes so should not need to be updated unless it is incorrect. Refer to this page from the help pages scroll down to 6. How can I manage my information?. https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360007001832-Privacy-policy
Hi Karen I would use the community watch option at the bottom of the listing page to report the seller to Trade Me https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360007264611-Reporting-listings You can also use the Live Chat option to speak with a Trade Me staff member live if you prefer.
Some of the recent upgrades Trade Me have done have made the site so much harder to use with so many options missing or not working correctly for some members it's very frustrating. I would recommend trying My Products the Trade Me free listing tool thankfully it has not been affected by the site upgrades and works really well it has a lot of other features that listing normally doesn’t. The great thing about My Products is you can import your current, sold or unsold listings into My Products and once imported editing anything on your listing is done on the one page and everything works as ...
Hi Gaye if this is a new issue you have encountered which going by what you say you have been able to do in the past it is it maybe something to do with the updates Trade Me are currently making to the site there have been a number of functionality issues as a result of the ongoing updates try using the live chat option to chat live with someone from the Trade Me Customer Experience Team and let them know about the issue just go to the Contact Us section at the bottom of any page and click on the blue speech icon on the bottom right side of that page then type in talk to a person and you wi...
Hi Jasper the recent updates Trade Me have done have made the site so much harder to use with so many options missing or not working correctly. I have been using the My Products listing tool for sometime now thankfully Trade Me have not messed with that at least not yet and I find it works really well. With My Products you can still place feedback in bulk along with a lot of other features. It might be worth you trying it out and see if works for you. Hi Siobhan the new look Trade Me site has a number of issues at the moment including around placing and editing feedback you could try to edit or delete the feedback you placed by going to the Member Profiles Get To Know section which is still on the old Trade Me website try going to the link below and enter the members user name that you want to edit or delete the feedback for and then scroll down to the feedback you placed and see if you have the option to edit or delete it from there. https://www.trademe.co.nz/Community/MemberProfiles.aspx
Hi Chris you could try accessing your feedback via the desktop version using the link below it may work it may not as it seems more and more members are now locked into using the new look Trade Me website and can’t get back to the older desktop version. https://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Feedback.aspx
Hi Tessa as your listing is $1 no reserve and has had a $1 bid placed it is now a auction and will sell to the highest bidder therefore no offers can be accepted any outstanding offers made will be declined automatically. Have you seen the help page about making a offer it has all the information you need to know refer https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360048790832-Make-an-Offer
Hi Grant your best option would be to use the Live Chat option which will allow you to talk directly with a actual person from Trade Me Customer Support just click on the Contact Us link at the bottom of any page or click on the link I have added below wait a few seconds and a blue circle will appear bottom right of the screen click on that and the Trade Me Support Bot Tautoko will appear to quickly talk with a person rather than going through the list of automated Bot responses type in the message box “talk to a person” you will then be required to enter a few personal details after which ...
