Yes I'm a casual seller & have stopped selling for a couple weeks not that I sell much on TM these days. I used to sell 3 things a week. Now I only sell 1 thing every 2 - 3 weeks! I'll concentrate on putting more of our flotsam on Facebook Marketplace. Seems to where the buyers are these days.
My FPO on my cellphone doesn't work. It does on desktop so maybe I need update something on my cell. I'm not using the app.
Yes, I listed 51 items without realising so got stung multiple 10c fees. Also some 25c fees bc it jumps forward a day without you doing anything except checking how many days it has been listed for. Does anything at TM work properly? I told one staffer recently that if TM was member their account would have been closed!
neilz yes TM seem awfully lazy these days. I certainly would never trust them with a Ping payment. It's impossible for me to sell here without Fixed Price Offers. Nothing works. All theTM emails are non-reply! Even the buyer address one. It's mad! Addresses don't load into the Pass The Parcel. The staff were wanting me take a screen shot of when there was 2 week fees free with Ping when I couldn't even add Ping bc of yet another glitch which they already knew about!.
neilz do you really think so. I'd never buy anything from an overseas seller as they are overpriced and the delivery cost is too high. Not to mention their terrible feedback.
It's so bad. I have plenty of watchers 7 on one listing but with no FPO offer on almost all my listings I didn't sell anything last week 1 thing in 2 weeks before that when I had @ 50 listings. It not worthwhile selling on TM now. I was easily selling 3 things a week a few months ago.
Yes I noticed this too! Also, it jumps forward a day when you click on listing duration! When it's at the day 7 it means you get a 25 cent fee. It's still doing it even though TM know it's happening. Oh & on my phone the listing duration can be one page 1 or page 2 of the 2 page listing! It's really confusing!
Trademe couldn't fux their site up anymore if they tried. Are they due to flog it off and wrecking it like they do in situations of Disaster Capitalism. Or it just a social experiment to see how frustrated ppl get before they look for an alternative. It's working!
Neil I had someone send back a new Merino top but they had taken photos of the damage which was a tiny cut but 1 of their photos had caught a much bigger piece of glitter glue on it! Trademe Pinged the money back to her!
I used have to Ping but about 6yrs I had woman buy a new Merino Top she wore over the weekend cut a small hole it but smaller than glitter glue she'd got on it. It stunk of perfume too. She taken photos of the small cut but in one photo it captured the glitter glue too. The male staff at Trust & Safety Pinged the payment back to her! I've never optionally used it since.
