Hello, While this doesn't likely help slowing sales it responds to the question how 99c items can be sent from china with free post.  My experience has been that Temu make you spend a minimum to order then will combine multiple items together to send so they are not generally sending singular 99c items for free, more like 36x 99c items would be send with free post. AliExpress generally do charge extra for shipping costs and will take about a month to arrive in NZ when I have previously ordered off this site, no doubt coming by boat. AliExpress adds tax on now also right at time of payment s...

I would like to use pass the parcel more except that they only accept parcels with printed address labels. As I don't have a home printer to print labels this makes them a far less convenient option for me to use. Otherwise I would love to use them. I like to offer the best price to buyers as naturally this is something that people take into account when considering if they will opt to bid on or purchase an item so more affordable prices would generally support an increased likelihood of the sale of items.   Tracey people 'might think they're entitled' to charge for these additional costs b...

Hi Johan,    When you put your address into https://www.addresscheck.co.nz/ what does it say for Aramex? I've found that there's a couple of reasons that this has happened when I've been sending items out. One which I detail above and the other being when the address details are not correct normally this is that the postcode is incorrect for the street address.

The cost would also be dependant on what packaging products the seller is using and how much they pay for them and which services they use. They may use the trade me booking service or go in person to the local post office for example.

45 days.   If interested please see my post suggesting a scenario where this is not a sufficient length of time.   https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/community/posts/10960811751439-Trade-me-support-not-intervening-on-dodgy-sales-practices

I am also still experiencing the same issue on the app https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/community/posts/4412953201165/comments/9487814836751 as I described. I cleared the cache and storage for the app to no avail. When I select "find out what to do" under if the sale falls through, it takes me to the Google Play app Google Chrome page. I tried deleting Google Chrome to see if that helped but it made no difference. I have been having to go through the Trade Me desktop site to apply for refunds since last reported. Any word about a patch for fixing this yet? Thanks

In response to the original question I have noticed that Aramex charges in some urban areas at rural rates. I enquired with them about it and they say it's when the address is not on a standard delivery route or within a zone that is routinely covered by an Aramex driver so if a driver from another zone has yo deliver to an unallocated zone then this would lead to that zone being charged at rural prices despite not being rural. Not much point fighting with sellers about it though as it's not them setting the rates. I usually ask for an additional $2 on top of what I quoted for which is Aram...

Thanks for the idea but yes I did try this as well with the same result. I find if it's the incorrect postcode or doesn't match what's the correct details for the address it might show as rural price or just one courier as an option instead of both Aramex and NZ post. I tried re-entering all the details both via the app via trade me site and using book a courier all with the same result :( it's in Devonport north shore/Auckland and definitely is in Aramex usual route of service. As indicated in the address check so I'm at a loose end of what to do. I guess if still like that later tonight I...

I am having this very same problem except the address is showing up non rural in www.addresscheck.co.nz and is definitely in Aramex usual zone having sent to this area many times. Does anyone know do I contact trade me or Aramex when I am trying to book via trade me site? I don't expect I'll be able to get ahold of anyone in a Sunday either way which is frustrating. I'm going to check in an hour or so and see if it has righted itself as it can be a bit glitchy.

Yes it's all up to date, thanks for your response. I believe it was perhaps a week or two ago when it happened previous then most recently this evening.
