I won the auction and the seller immediately contacted me to "negotiate" as he was hoping to get a higher price. I did actually offer him a little bit more but he declined my offer and backed out of the trade (and then got nasty and demanded I refund his sellers fee). I've never experienced this behaviour on any auction platform, but the seller seems to think this is business as usual. He accused me of "not having much experience (...) with trademe".
