Trade Me link with google shopping
Hi, I am trying to get my Trademe account working with google shopping but I cant not find a detailed step by step to do so, please can someone tell me how :)
I saw the https://www.trademe.co.nz/c/marketplace/article/increase-your-listing-views-by-50-via-google-shopping link and .pdf file however they are both useless and are more advertisements but no walkthrough step by step
My account status
- I am not In-Trade
- I do use My products
- I dont use tradevine
- My account is Casual
I have found listings for on google shopping but are casual sellers and not in trade and they are showing up just fine on google.
I know about Google Merchant Account and I know that is part of the the setup however when I click the Trademe integration, it asks me verify my website ??? even though I chose the Trademe link how am I supposed to verify my trade me account when it doesnt give me anything to go by apart from add html code to trademe like I would have access to that...
I'm very frustrated as you can tell, please help with a step by step.

Callum Community SuperuserHi Tim. As long as you follow the examples and hints given in that link it seems to encourage your items to show up in google shopping. Plenty of mine seem to appear on there. There doesn't seem to be any great secret or walkthrough apart from what is already explained. So good descriptive titles and descriptions, clear uncluttered photo. I have not bothered with adding UPC to my listings. Perhaps that could give them a further boost but that would probably only work for common items that actually have unchanging solid UPC's. A lot of my stuff doesn't. If you are selling books adding the ISBN would be a sensible and relatively easy thing to do.
I don't know anything about your other question on google merchant accounts etc. If nobody chips in there you might have to contact Trade Me directly.
