Success fees on shipping for In-Trade sellers
AnsweredI’m an In Trade Seller and just in the process of applying for some refunds on my success fees due to combining shipping. How do I calculate these? Is there a flat percentage that is applied across all categories or does it depend on what category the items were listed in? Thanks people!

As different categories can have different fees Andrea, you would need to itemise each P number you wanted to apply for a refund for.so the refund can be allocated correctly.

is there an easy way of applying for the success fee or do you have to email in each time, seems like a lot of work as I have only just realised that the success fee is taken on postage (the postage amount I charge no longer covers the shipping because the success has come out) I would have to go a long way back to work out how much I am owed on success fees as I always combine shipping, a lot of people buy more than 1 book at the time to save on the postage amount but hit the postage on each book then ask after the auction is finished

No easy way Mary, other than having many shipping options for buyers to select. I see some that have different rates eg $6 courier 1 book, $9 courier 2-4 books etc etc. What does make it easy though is having Ping, as if a buyer pays too much shipping or multiple shipping amounts and paid by Ping, when you issue a Ping refund to them the ping fee PLUS the success fee part of that refund is automatically refunded to you, so no need to do things manually and apply for partial refunds.
