Gallery did not make listing appear above basic listings

I created a listing and used Trade Me search to see where it appeared in the results. It was 7th. I then edited the listing paying for Gallery and changing nothing else. I searched again but my item still appeared 7th in the search results. I have searched again later in case it takes a while for the change to take effect but still no promotion. Surely this is a false claim?

Callum Community SuperuserFirstly you have to be sure the other 6 are basic listings. AND are otherwise nearly identical as far as the title of the auction. If those other listings have also paid for gallery or super feature, you wont appear above them.
The title of the auction compared to your search term also is very important with regard to where your item appears in the search results.
