Relisting an expired listing

Steve, you need to edit your post to remove all of your contact details as 1, it's not allowed to post them here in the community pages or anywhere else on Trademe except in specially designated fields, and 2, it makes it that much easier for scammers to hack your account or try to scam you. Best option for your issue, would be to use Trademe's Live Chat. Just search in the search box up top for instructions as that will be both quick and easy.

Hi Steve. You need to reactivate listings yourself. If the time has passed for relisting (45 days) then you are pretty much out of luck. If you went away for 2 months and had the listing sit there it would have expired. However if your initial contact to Trade Me was WITHIN the 45 day limit and they didn't reply you might have a case for getting it relisted free of charge. That's IF it's even still on the servers.

Same problem relisting my trimaran on its auction that didnt sell but only expired 2 days ago. Mytrademe will not allow a relist. I was told that to relist an expired aiction I have to go on to www.trademe.co.nz and register there. I hade a password the contained these 3 letters(pet) being just the middle of a very long password. Trademe sent the ridiculous response with: "you can't use your pet's name for a password, and no matter what I try in 'help' it won't allow me to sign in.

Hello Steve. Yes, you need to list these items on the Desktop, rather than the App. I'm a bit confused about the other stuff you mention. Maybe there is a restriction on the phrase "pet" anywhere in a password. Seems unlikely, but it's the only thing I can think of. If so, why not just change it?

The password is a set of random letters and numbers I've used to relist my boat without a problem until now. Are you using AI?

Previously, I could use mytrademe on the auction to relist but lately trademe has said I need to go to the website. Ive since done that, though annoying but without a problem to relist. However, now, whatever I do, I still can't log in.

There is only one Trade Me Steve. Trademe.co.nz So I don't really know what you mean when you talk "mytrademe on the auction" and needing to go to the website.
The other way to access Trade Me is via an App on your phone or device.
If you can't login, are you getting an error? If so, what is it?

Though I've had an email to change my pass word it is not accepted. Enter new password is not accepted. At one of several attempts it said, 'timed out' though I was very quick.

Ive used the password that has the random letters inbedded for some time without a problem until now.

Do you know how to contact Trade Me via Live Chat? You might be best doing that tomorrow. They should be able to see what's been happening and talk you through logging on to your account again.
