Other platforms - Google shopping

Hi TradeMe

When searching the web for 'earth peg tenting anchors' (similar to my 'twistngrip' earth screw listing with trademe) , I notice items in 'shopping' have their contact to purchase as Trade Me.

My question today, is what is the next step to have my product listed on other platforms with Trade Me as the site to click and buy?

I wish to place my product on other platforms via TradeMe's platform. I see this as me with TradeMe, marketing my product and sales conducted via TradeMe and their services ie 'ping' for and courier.

Appreciate knowing how to get onto other platforms with TradeMe

(I have been getting plenty of views but no sales; I wonder why?)

You should edit your post to remove the link you have to your website as it's not allowed to do that here. See the Community Guidelines link where you write your post.

I'm not Trademe, but this could help you, link below, but that's specific to google shopping.

If you are getting views on your website but no sales, then you could make a simple link to your Trademe listings if you don't want a proper online shop. If you are getting views on your Trademe listing, but no sales, it might suggest nobody wants it, or they might be put off or confused like I am, by the contradictory pricing and information you have in your listing, like I mentioned the other day when you asked why your item couldn't be seen. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems really strange to have a Buy Now price of $5 with free delivery, yet your photo says now on special $35.

Hi Stephen, if I understand you correctly you are doing a google search and notice items coming up in the "shopping" tab as being from TradeMe?

This is nothing deliberate the seller does. It is just google doing it's thing. I am sure I have seen some of my own items appear on there, without any action on my part.

What you see there can even be dependant on your own browsing history. If you use Trade Me a lot and click through those links you see you will probably see more of them in future.

yes, i am doing google search for products similar to mine and notice items have various names ; wish, the warehouse, etc and trade me. So i am wondering how do i get my product there in the 'shopping' with trade me as the seller.

does trade me list them?

Hi again. As per my other post you can't.

It is just google's algorithms deciding what to put there based on your previous search history.

There is a possibility Trade Me pay something to google to get their website more exposure, but we as individual sellers can't force our items to be shown there as far as I'm aware.

Also Stephen, Trademe only searches titles of listings unless you put your search word inside inverted commas. This will also carry through to google. I'd suggest you use specific words in your title, rather than the generic Tent peg you have now. You have 50 chars available for the title, and it's best to use them all and put the most likely searched ones at the start eg something like... Earth anchor, ground anchor screw in peg. Edit: I just realised my first post from yesterday is not showing yet and still pending. No doubt that will be cleared tomorrow when someone at Trademe get's around to it.
