Contact second bidder

We've accidentally bought an item we can't use. Is it possible to make contact with the person we last overbidded, to see if they would be interested in buying it after-all?

Gary-NZStocked Community SuperuserYou can, but not here on Trademe unless they have listings to ask a Q on or you have traded with them before and have their contact details already. The seller though can offer a Fixed Price offer to them if for whatever reason you are not going ahead with it. The seller obviously won't be too happy especially if they have spent money on listing, but no harm in asking.
