Listing close time has changed from what I selected and paid for
Hey everyone,
I started a general marketplace listing yesterday (Monday) around lunchtime, for a decently expensive laptop. When I listed it, I picked my own listing close time of 8pm Sunday, which would be just over 6 days away. I also paid extra for this.
I checked the listing this morning, and my reserve has been met, but the close time is now showing 9am Monday?! I tried to correct this, but the option is greyed out, due to the reserve being met (I presume).
I am very confused and frankly irritated. Barely anyone is checking Trade Me at 9am on a Monday for a listing close. Consequently, it's going to sell for bugger all, whereas the time I paid for and picked would fetch a high sell price.
I contacted Trade Me support, but the auto-reply said they'll do their best to get back in 3 to 5 days-- which simply doesn't cut it.
I really need to fix my listing close time.
What can I do?

Will, if at some stage you edited your live listing, the system may have changed the end time on you without you noticing. This can happen so it pays to really look at that final page before you update after edits.
If there is just one bid, I would be inclined to remove the bid straight away, quickly edit to correct time, then write a note as a seller comment on the listing along the lines of... Thank you very much for your earlier bid. Unfortunately I had to remove it so I could edit the time of the auction close as Trademe had earlier unbeknownst to me changed the end time. My apologies for any inconvenience and I welcome your bids again.

Thanks Gary! Weird that I haven't run into that 'feature' before, and I don't recall editing the listing whatsoever... I also noticed my other listing has changed it's closing time from 8pm Sunday to the same 9am Monday...

You may like to report this to TM staff for further investigation if you haven't edited either of your listings there by contacting a TM staff member through their "Live Chat" facility for assistance there & then during the manned hours of 9:30:am - 5:00pm during week days and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm - the Tab you are looking to go through as in pic below...

Once you've selected the Contact us Link you need to give the landing page a count of 15+ seconds for this blue & black speech bubble Chat Tab in pic to Pop up at the bottom right of your screen, there is a slight delay in this appearing.
Follow directions to be transferred through to a staff member for instant assistance rather than leaving a message and awaiting response over the following days - Cheers.
