Afterpay error message

Basically the same for me except that mine has ground to a halt at the log in to Afterpay point. What to do?

Carol apparently you must have your surname on your trademe account profile.. i added it and its now working fine.. hope this helps

How were you able to add your surname? I tried and was unable to change it from just my christian name. I remember from years ago when I first joined TM that it couldnt be added, in order to prevent sales being made outside of TM

Yes i went to mytrademe, then profile and account, click on my details, then clicked where just my first name was and it opened it up to add a surname

Thanks for posting - great to read that you were able to sort that by updating your account details. Anyone else needing to do that, just like Rowena said you can add to or change your details from your My Trade Me page.

I am having trouble purchasing via afterpay. It always comes up" trade me is not talking" um yeah what does that mean? I have always purchased items with afterpay upto $2000.

I have made three attempts to make a payment for an item on offer. The payment goes to Afterpay where I confirm it and then I am sent back to Trademe but the purchase is not completed. There is no record of the purchase in Trademe or on Afterpay. So, I did not attempt to pay via any other method so gave up on trying to make the purchase.

Keep getting an oops 500 error when trying to buy an item. Won't let me change my password either.
