Reporting Shill bidding

There is an article on trademe that explains how to report shill bidding. But there is no link to Community watch under each auction anymore. Or is there. Can anyone help me report a possible shill bidder doubling the final selling price.

This is where you find the Community watch in the New Desktop site

You can also contact TM through their "Live Chat" facility enabling staff to investigate - Cheers.

Julia, the community watch link only shows on current listings. If it has closed, it's no longer an option, so you would need to contact Trademe.

How do I report possible shilling on an auction after the bidding has closed.

Sorry to read you have encountered that possibility,

To contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance, If you select the Contact us Link at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen.

Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once the Chat icon is selected - person - and you will be taken to entering your details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff.

The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 6:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm
