Editing the end time of an auction

can someone please help. i listed an auction yesterday in a rush and made a mistake and let it run for 7 days, but i only like it to run for 3. we are moving and i want the item picked up this weekend.
how can i change it.

Daleen, simply click in to the auction, click the Edit button, step through the pages until you get to the last tab and choose the day and time you want it to finish, then save/update.

It is greyed out because i already have a bidder on the auction

As long as no one has placed any bids you are good, just like what Gary says. If someone has placed a bid, then you will need to withdraw the auction, and relist with your updates.
Make sure in your description that you are very, very clear that the item is to be collected over the weekend, no exceptions. (This is the other problem you may run into).

Yes Daleen,like Simon says, once a bid has been placed you can't edit the close time, for obvious reasons. Only option is to remove bids from the auction, quickly edit end time and add a note in the listing explaining the change.
