Courier Printed Lanels
Hello,
I recently sold an item on TradeMe, where I typically use TradeMe to book a courier and print labels on plain paper through my printer. I usually affix these labels to the items myself.
Regrettably, I don't have a label maker or ink for my printer. I've been contemplating the idea of using courier-printed labels, where I write the tracking number on the parcel, and the courier collects and applies the label to the item on pick up.
I'm curious about the effectiveness of this method. Can I depend on it, and does it work for both courier companies, such as Aramex and NZ Post?
Thank you for your insights.

Thomas, if you are likely to be sending only one item at a time, then there should be no problem handwriting labels and choosing the Courier printed labels to be affixed by the courier. Make sure to write the address as well as tracking number. I have done this with Aramex and NZ Post.
If you are sending more than one at a time then that can introduce mistakes of courier putting wrong label on. I did it like this for a few months when I first started and had 2 parcels get the wrong labels on them. Luckily my label underneath was still there and the buyers once they saw the contents were not theirs, peeled back the courier labels to see someone else's name and address and worked out the mixup had happened and swapped things over as they were quite close to each other.
