Offers - how to contact the seller?
Hi,
I have an offer from a seller for an auction that closed. I would like to accept the offer - but need to make sure I can arrange pickup as I am out of town.
It would be really useful if Q&A was still available for items on offer! Yes, I have checked to see if the seller has any other auctions. But even if they did - it seems illogical to have to enquire through an unrelated auction.
This is not the first time this has happened.
Any chance that could be changed?
Thanks
Dave

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Dave,TM do not supply this option as a FPO is purely a second chance for the Buyer post auction to obtain a missed or undecided auction at time of closing & for the Seller to achieve a Sale here - as it is a second chance TM do not go through the process of requesting permission from the Buyer to supply the Seller their personal info' when the Seller can easily just relist the item and discussion can be had.0

Carole, unless you have the seller's contact details already, you can't contact them after an auction has closed. You can though check to see if they have any other listings to ask a question on, or and them as a fav seller so you get notified when they next list something, or if you click in to the unsold item you may see a button saying Ask the seller to relist or send a Fixed price offer. Good luck.

I had a fixed offer on item I was selling which said would be there for 24 hours. However, the auction just finished, and the offer has disappeared......how am I meant to contact them when you have removed the information and the offer is still live?

I have an offer from seller for a motorbike but I want to view before I buy I’m pretty sure that’s part of my consumer rights.

Ricard, if the listing has a contact number in the appropriate field, then that's how to contact the seller. Not all sellers put their phone number in when listing an auction, so if it's not there, you can't contact them, only bid, or accept an offer, but once you accept an offer, it's a legally binding agreement to purchase unless you have agreed in writing with the seller something different to that.

Kia Ora Roisin,
Congratulations on your purchase,
You email the Seller to organise pick up options. You will find the Seller's email in your Confirmation of purchase email &/Or your Payment instructions received from TradeMe or from within the closed Listing itself. There is a possibility your Seller may have provided a contact telephone number within their payment instructions also, if these were emailed out to you. - Cheers.
