Banana error when trying to get a success fee refund
Try to get success fee refund for a failed trade but Banana error just keeps popping up. How to overcome this? Also I note for success fee refunds that for years of getting instant success fee refunds, its suddenly changed to having to wait 3 days. What is wrong here

It is possible some work has been applied to the application for a Success fee refund which may have seen it move from it's usual position perhaps. - The base trouble shooting steps are to clear your Cookies & Cache and ensure you've got the latest up to date version of TM on your device. - Have you attempted to apply through the Desktop site & the Apps? - The most Recent App updates which have been rolled out: Android 30 July 2023 & IOS 7 August 2023.
On receiving an application for a Success fee refund TM contact the Buyer first to encourage them to complete their obligation of following through with their Trade - TM allow Buyers 3 days to respond before excepting the application - depending on if and what your Buyer may respond with is the determining factor here - Cheers.

Hi Donal. Yes the banana errors are very unhelpful. They don't tell you what the problem is.
It is possible you have already been refunded or you have already requested your fees back. This happens automatically in some cases. I would double check your account.
The instant vs 3 days is triggered by a number of factors. The value of the refund, how many you have done recently, and whether you click "trade wont be going ahead" or "buyer hasn't paid" when you request your success fees back.
