Buyers email not valid

Wendy, no, Trademe don't constantly monitor emails to ensure they are up to date and valid and they can be changed at any time as well. Check the email to make sure it's formatted correctly and doesn't have an obvious spelling or syntax mistake in it. I get the odd one that says xtra.co and they forget the .nz on the end. If you are sure you have the email address correct, maybe try placing feedback pointing things out to them and asking them to make contact.

Thank you for your suggestion Gary-NZStocked. I have sent a message through the Place Feedback option. Fingers crossed they make contact.

Yes, it's worth a try, although it only relies on them checking their feedback as even if they have the email turned on in their options, it will also not get delivered. With a bit of luck they may have app notifications on their mobile so would get a notification there. Fingers crossed.

Another issue I have found with undeliverable emails is that their mail box is full so email not accepted into it. At least you know the address is a valid address, but it maybe a long time until empty the mail box, or often I suspect it is an old abandoned email account in which case you will never make contact with them as they will never access it again. Often the email you get notifying you of non delivery will have a reason for the non delivery further down the page disguised amongst all the other techie works and symbols in the email

Thanks Donal. I will give them a few more days then offer it to the underbidder.
