Selling my vehicle but a 'Money' Owing' advisory warning appears?
AnsweredIve listed my vehicle several times in the last few months. I relisted yesterday and notice on the page that a background check 'Advisory warning' is appearing ? Ive owned this car outright since I purchased it so have no idea why this warning has now appeared? I tried getting in contact with Motorweb but no response. How do I get this rectified? anyone else had this issue before? thanks

I created a listing for my car, several days later I purchased a Motorweb report so I could help my listing with more information added. The listing isn't showing my motorweb report at all, do I need to somehow insert the report into my listing or will the listing update automatically with the new Motorweb info I bought?

Good on you purchasing the motorweb report,
You place this report as an image, photo pic in your Listings photo's - Up to 2 non vehicle images can be used, motorweb VIR is one of them - Cheers.

Sorry, I don't think you understood my question.
I meant in the "Background Check" panel. There are 4 separate parts that are Greyed Out - The "Stolen Vehicle Check" - shows as unavailable, the "Re-registered Check" - shows as unavailable - the "Damaged Import Check" shows as unavailable and finally the "Money Owing" shows as unavailable. These are all Greyed out.
Those 4 things showing as Unavailable I thought would now become Green and the information would then be visible to the general public and not greyed out.
This is why I purchased the report - I assumed everyone has to buy a report to have the "Background Check" portion completed.
How does the Background Check portion be filled in correctly please?0 -

Motor Listings can only be edited within seven days of starting the listing, as your fields are greyed out your best option is to contact TM staff through "Live Chat" who will have the Access Rights to edit these for you Otherwise the advice is to withdraw the Listing & Relist.
If you select the Contact us Link at the bottom of any TM page, give the landing page a count of 15+ seconds for the Chat Tab to Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your screen, there is a slight delay in this appearing.
Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once the Chat icon is selected - Talk to person - you will be taken to entering your details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff.The manned hours weekdays are 9:30:am - 5:00pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm- Cheers.2 -
Thanks, I think it took a while to update itself after I bought the Background Check - so it's all good now, I should have waited longer that's all.

This has been helpful, I've just listed my van and see all the checks have passed apart from the money owing, which has a grey question mark. And no money is owed on the van..I'll try a live person chat tomorrow and hope to set this straight
