Notifying watchers of price drop

If you modify the price of a live listing, Trademe usually automatically email watchers to notify them of this eg like this email I received.

Thank you😊 I thought that was the case but my husband dropped the price on his classified and I am a watcher, and I haven’t received an email. Hopefully, I will receive one soon, along with the other watchers. Thanks again

Not sure if they do it for classifieds rather than auctions, as classifieds can have price negotiated anyway.

Would this be the same for a listing for a property rental. We are keen to drop the price, and hoping that watchers would be alerted to this.

Not sure Bahnaz, but maybe you can ask someone else to add it to their watchlist, drop the price and then ask them to let you know if they get a price drop email. As you say you are keen to drop the price anyway, you may as well do it and see what happens.

I can confirm TradeMe do send an Email to Watchers when there has been a Price Drop on a Property...
