How do I resolve issues with a buyer pulling out and getting my free relisting reinstated?
I had a buyer use buy now then pull out of the sale. I sent a message and I got my success fee back and then an email saying they had refunded a couple of bucks. They didn’t read my entire email where I complained:
1) that the item is sold and I can’t relist it
2) I paid extra for feature combo good for 2 relists
3) By the buyer using buy now I lost 5 days of advertising
I can’t reply to the email because it has a bounce back and on IOS I don’t even have a LiveChat button. Seems to me a deliberate move to make it impossible to communicate with TradeMe.

1. Why you can't relist it?
2. The feature combo price varies depending on the item but for general items it is $3.95. Not sure how much exactly was the "couple of bucks" they gave you but I assume that was meant to cover those costs.
3. I'm not sure how you suggest that can be resolved. Nothing you can do about that really.
I have always been able to reply to Trade Me messages that come from customersupport@trademe.co.nz which is the one they use for general contact. While the automated fee refund system is not able to be replied to. The email you said you got saying they had refunded "a couple of bucks" should be able to reply.
I'm not sure if live chat is available on the app. Possibly not. In that case you would use desktop on your phone/ipad and look for the live chat there. It pops up on the Contact us page weekdays business hours and sometimes weekends around 10:30am onwards.

I paid $3.95 for a feature combo +.25 for a reserve price +$2.00 for 2 relistings +.99 for a second category.
The .99 second category +.25 for a reserve price for the second relist were refunded but I am still down a 3rd relist which is what the $2.00 on top of the $3.95 was for.
I can’t relist it because it was sold using buy now. Surely refunding the success fee should un-sell it?
It can be resolved by unselling my second listing and allowing me the 3rd feature combo listing that I paid for.
I did get a bounce back to my reply to my email from customer support telling me direct emails aren’t monitored and I am currently in Chrome on my iPad and still no chat button. I think there used to be an option to request desktop site but I can’t see that now.

You can relist any sold item, buy now or not. I do get that there are many ways and methods to access TM now. But on desktop you just go to your sold page, hit "more options" at the right of the sold item, then look for relist. Had a check on ios app. Couldn't find relist, but "sell similar" populates everything as it was on the original listing. So essentially it's the same thing, although it might mean previous bidders and watchers are not notified.
You won't get livechat now. or at 8pm when you posted. It is available business hours.
