Closed listing: unanswered question

You can't contact them, so best to answer the question either in the auction text as you relist, or as a comment underneath. The other member should be notified that the item is relisted and they can also look at their items I lost to see the relist notification.

Pity, this is a real nuisance. Can't even reply when making a fixed price offer.

I have asked a question about an item I am interested in buying and need the answer before I purchase it but no one is replying, how can I remedy this ?

You can't remedy it Darryl. If the seller has decided not to answer the question, it might indicate a problem so you you might be best to steer clear. They may be away from the computer or have other things going on, so give them some time but if not answered before closing, might pay to leave it.

Unfortunately unless there is a 'Make an offer' Tab in the Listing there is No other way to attract the Seller's attention here - I understand you need info' before purchasing - Make an offer may have to be a low one not likely to get an acceptance though just may do the trick in getting the Seller to check out the Listing & see your question. - If the feature is there of course.

Should the item close before you have an answer you can attempt to ask through another item the Seller has Listed.
