listing not auction

sorry to ask a dumb question but how can i just list a item say a crockpot/ mixer with out it being an auction, the closest i saw and did was buy now but it seemed to be really a auction, all i want to do is put an item up for sale not auction say for a couple weeks.

You can list an auction or listing for up to 10 days maximum for general goods like that. If you want it to be a Buy Now only, ie not an auction with bidding, then just put the price in the Buy Now field when listing. Don't put anything in the start price or reserve price fields like this.

Thanks Gary, that's great advice for Mark.

Something like a crockpot can be listed as an auction with bidding or Buy Now only. You can't create a classified advertisement for a general item.
