Frustrating time trying to add second category to a listing

Doesn't sound like you're using My Products? IMHO, the hours would be better used to learn how to use My Products.

Johanne I haven't come across the "not a valid category" issue before so if that keeps happening, it would be worth sending in some screenshots and other details about which categories this seems to be occurring on.
A general reminder to everyone wanting to use this optional feature: when adding a second category to a listing, the addition has to be from a different category on Trade Me, rather than a sub-category within the same one. That is why you see some are greyed out when you are asked to choose the 2nd category. For example, if I was listing a gold necklace in 'Jewellery & watches' in the 'Necklaces & pendants' sub category, I wouldn't be able to also add it to 'Men's jewellery' because that is also within the 'Jewellery & watches' category. I could however add it to the different category 'Antiques & collectables' and pop it into the 'Jewellery' sub category.

Thanks Lucy. So now I wonder ... can I cancel second category and get refund? As it is useless as wont let me select. Even though 2nd category fee was deducted it does not show in search in 2nd one. Also confused as they are 2 different categories altogether that I wanted to list in. One is building supplies and one is Home and Living, carpets
