Finding a saved draft listing

Hi Susan. If the draft listing saved correctly, you will find it when you log in and click on 'Start a listing' as if you're staring from scratch. You will then see the choice to 'Start new listing' or 'Continue'. Pick 'Continue' and your draft should be there!

I have had the same problem, I started a listing yesterday and saved it but it has disappeared! :(

I thought I had to restart everything, I found that when I started to reenter the trade (property for sale), a lot of the information I had previously entered was there. Give it a try, go back to your account and attempt to reenter the trade you were doing and you may find the information entered earlier is still there.

HI there, that is great advice, I was stressing out immensely but if you go back into the listing like you were starting again it will come up.  I think an option should be added on the left with all the profile info etc and then the "save and exit" listing should go in there. Just some advice if anyone from tradme looks at these!

Agreed, same problem. Works terribly on laptop, and better on phone (except you can't list property from phone).

something is not quite right here

I started to prepare a property for sale, there is a tag that allows you to Save and Exit, which I did, meaning to return later. Now I can't find it. Is there a link I'm missing somewhere to find a Trade that has been saved but not published?

I have had the same thing happen... Must be a TM glitch that needs looking into?

The same happened to me. I followed the advice to start the listing again and all the information was still there. Thank god!

Trademe? You seem to have the same issue here over and over again with the "save and exit" option. We spent a fair bit of time writing up our property for sale and had to stop, and seen the "save and exit" but when we came back nowhere to be found. Come on fellas we can do better.

30 minutes or so ago I clicked SAVE LISTING and received a message in green that my listing was saved and I cold continue with it later. When I click the "List a New Item" I don't get the "Continue or Start Again?" dialog. Come on Trade Me!, how the heck can such a large company ignore a BUG in their code for over 1 year? One developer could solve this easily in no time at all.

Hi I completed a property listing in the evening of 9/01/2022 , paid the money which has been transferred to your account in Wellington and then it stalled before starting the listing and offered to save a draft which I did. Today there is no refund in my account and no listing. No draft option either. Can you please sort this out. My preference is to commence the listing

It never works the draft and safe and exit. Its a waste of time and effort. 
So annoying.

This just happened to me... hopefully this bug gets fixed but looks like it has been over a year now

Same thing happened to me twice tonight.  I am using a laptop - what a waste of my time.    

I have a related problem. I started a listing, saved it to edit later, and now I can't remove it. Please help.

I save my draft on TM app thinking to come back later to finish the listing.  However when I login to my PC it wasn't there.  Can someone point me to the right direction.

Try starting it from scratch, what I found is that as I started a new listing, my old 'lost' one came back. Weird but true. So it is saved, but its not obvious how to retrieve it back. Basically it's a bug which TradeMe have placed a very low priority on getting fixed.

It just doesn't work, the "Start new listing" - "Continue" button just doesn't appear as pictured here.

I was just about to post a similar message BUT discovered my rental listing was infact saved - but only after I clicked through a few of the menu selection options on the way to creating a brand new listing (Residential, House etc). It seems only after the site has applied a few filters will it tell users they have got a draft listing saved. I agree - a menu item labelled "Drafts" would be a lot more intuitive. Hopefully this post helps others not get as frustrated as I nearly did.
