What if the item is not as described?

Hi all,
I bought a trail camera from a PowerSeller with thousands of positive feedbacks that stated a motion sensor range of 20 m and a 5 MegaPixel CMOS sensor.
I tested the camera out and the motion sensor has a range of about 20 FEET, and the sensor is at best a 2 MP sensor.
I complained and they offered a full refund, but they also keep selling the same camera with the false specs.
For me this is a clear case of fraud.
I had a similar experience some time ago with another PowerSeller and complained to TradeMe who said they would get back to me, but the seller just refunded the money, blocked me from future purchases, and my negative feedback was removed, and TradeMe never contacted me about it but just ignored subsequent emails.
Has anyone managed to get TradeMe to actually take fraud seriously?

Getting the media involved might help? But since this is not something that causes serious harm, not sure will anyone be interested in taking any actions, I wouldn't expect Trade Me to do anything about it.
You can also try complaining to the Commerce Commission.

I would doubt that it is not causing serious harm when people use it as a security camera to monitor their garden or driveway and it turns out what they want to monitor is not even in the range of the camera. You are also paying quite a bit more for features that simply aren't there, and as it is a power seller with over 22,000 positive feedbacks, and if he sold 1,000 of the cameras, then he defrauded people of about $30,000.

I ordered Peroxide from seller...never received...never got replies to several of my emails to seller...filed Trademe Dispute...they refunded my PING account...I wanted product! Then Trademe allows them to continue to sell same product? Why is that? Seller should be removed from Trademe. Till this day I have not heard from seller nor what Trademe Dispute found out...just a refund! Shame on ' ss4as ' ...stay away from this seller! Also product comes 20km from my house...but no pickup allowed!!

I recently purchased a men's jacket (Abercrombie and Fitch brand) from the mens section of the site (I have proof of this). I won it for $21 before my questions had been answered at all. She to date hasn't answered any questions except sent the tracking number with no company so I still couldn't track it the item. The item was paid for, the seller didn't send it after negotiation, she just sent it via NZ Post though I had requested she send it through the site. (Aramex or Courier Post) I have her address and it isn't rural. I probably owe her $1 still but she never asked for it. She was supposed to tell me if I owed her anything. I have all the emails to her about everything. The latest insult to injury was that the so called size M men's jacket from the men's section is a women's size M (more S-M with quite narrow shoulders and sleeves). How could the seller get this wrong. I had asked her if it was roomy. Its size equivalent to a 10-12 women's and no way idoes it fit my son (a male) who fits M-L Men's. I explained the dilemma via email and asked for $10 back so I could sell it again hopefully for the same amount I purchased it for. (I paid $30.11 all up) Ne reply of course. No expressions of remorse for selling it as a man's jacket. It's the non communication that gets me and I want the $10 now or I will take it further for the entire amount. If I sell it for $20 I will reimburse her naturally. So far I have been very patient and reasonable.
