Editing a Listing once bidding has started
AnsweredHi there,
I have started a listing for a set of shelves but just want to edit the listing and add the dimensions. For some reason, I am unable to edit a bunch of the fields in the listing such as the title and description. The listing has met reserve, does this make those fields uneditable?
Thanks,
Steve

Yes, that's correct. Once reserve has been met, you can't edit those sorts of things as if you could, you could potentially change the listing to be for a bag of air, or similar.
What you can do though is to add those comments to the listing as Seller comments, in the Q & A section below the main description area in the box where it says Add a comment...... Potential buyers or people bidding already won't be notified of the comments, but they can see them if they click in to the listing.

Same thing happened to me, I'm hoping the bidder notices the comment!

How about adding photos as requested, do we describe them in the comments?
Have item currently listed as only buy now, not an auction but still won't allow me to edit listing!! -needs sorting out!0 -

Hi Glen, is there any error message popping up for you when you try to edit your listing and add photos? If you are using the mobile app, I'd recommend double checking its fully up to date, or jumping on to the website to make the edit

Yes error message, went to desktop site & edit works, also multi items & many features not available on android available here.

The listing defaulted to 'new/unused' item and I missed that. Its supposed to be 'used'. Bidding started - how can I change that please?
